OCC CHAMPIONSCongratulations to the cheerleaders for winning the OCC Cheerleading Competition.
Thirteen New Albany High School cheerleaders participated in the OCC cheerleading championships on Sunday, February 17, 2008. They competed in the cheer only division. The cheer used for this routine was created by squad member Kortney Sweitzer. The team placed first and were the champions of the cheer only division for the 2008 OCC Championship. Recieving All Star medal for New Albany were squad member Victoria Lin and Alexis Lewis. Squad members are: Lauren Sural, Victoria Lin, Alexis Lewis, Kelsey Conrad, Jannessah Harper, Jenelle Bortz, Kortney Sweitzer, Courtney Fitzgerald, Kaylee Smith, Michaela Mayo, Elizabeth Thompson, Stacey Andres, and Morgan Taylor The team was coached by Kate Thoma and Sarah Browning
