Congratulations to senior, Tim Collins, for qualifying for the Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, on July 4. Tim made the trial cut in the 100 meter fly with a time of 55.50 on March 28 at Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI). The top six fly times from Omaha will make the Olympic team that represents the USA in the Beijing Olympics in August. Tim will be competing in Omaha against the well-known Olympic swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Crocker as well as many other excellent swimmers. Good luck Tim. Your hard work paid off.
